Ferguson: Medicare Official on Hand to Answer Constituents' Questions

In his continuing effort to aid constituents who have questions or problems with federal agencies, Rep. Mike Ferguson, R-N.J., announced Monday that he will host a series of federal officials in his Somerset County office to meet directly with 7th District residents.

Ferguson on Tuesday will host a representative from Medicare who can answer constituents' questions about retirees' health care, including the Part D prescription drug benefit.

Previously, Ferguson hosted representatives from the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration, and additional sessions will be held this fall with officials from other federal agencies, including the Veterans Affairs Department.

The meeting with the Medicare official will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ferguson's congressional office, which is located at 45 Mountain Boulevard, Building D, Suite 1, in Warren Township. Any constituent with questions is invited to attend.

"Each day, my office receives requests from constituents who are seeking help in resolving a problem with a federal agency," Ferguson said. "In addition to my staff advocating on behalf of constituents with federal agencies, having a key official in the room with residents is another way to cut through red tape and ensure constituents in the 7th District are receiving the best service."

Ferguson said the Medicare official will answer questions, and help individuals who are experience any difficulty with the federal agency.
